Bayern Munich earned a 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund.
After a long week of intense games, Bayern Munich star Harry Kane was content to take home a point after his team’s 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker.
Surely, Kane would not have had a problem taking three points, but the Bavarians could not find a way to get it done.
“I think we can live with the point. It was an intense game; both teams had chances. In the first half, we stood well, conceded few chances, but also didn’t create much going forward. In the second half, things became more open; we took more risks and were more vulnerable at the back,” said Kane (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “Despite that, we scored two nice goals, which is something to take away. In the end, it was a game that could have gone either way. It was certainly attractive for the spectators. Now we have to take it game by game, give it our all, and then we’ll see what this point is worth in the end.”
Now, Bayern Munich must find a way to regroup and get ready for Inter Milan in the Champions League. No doubt, a better effort will be needed for the Bavarians to make it through to the UCL semifinals and a potential date with either former coach Hansi Flick (likely) or archrival Borussia Dortmund (not likely at all).
