Bayern Munich dropped points in Der Klassiker…

Bayern Munich was determined and focused during its 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund, but — once again — lacked efficiency in front of the net.

That was not a fact lost on Thomas Müller, who was playing in his last version of Der Klassiker with Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund.

“We can’t blame a lack of energy today. We were determined to win. But the efficiency wasn’t as we had imagined. It was a great game for the fans. The substitutions were good, Serge did great when he came on. We had a lot of energy, but the problem was the missed chances. Nevertheless, we showed that we can create many chances, which will help us on Wednesday. I see a team capable of advancing to the next round of the Champions League on Wednesday,” said Müller (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Ah. yes. Bayern Munich will absolutely need to be more clinical with its chances against a rugged squad from Inter Milan. Playing from behind in that match, nothing will come easy.
