Newcastle United entertained Manchester United at St. James’ Park earlier this evening as they looked to earn a win at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 24th minute thanks to Sandro Tonali’s great strike. However, Alejandro Garnacho equalised for Newcastle just 13 minutes later. Both teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Harvey Barnes restored Newcastle’s advantage in the 49th minute before going on to score again in the 64th minute. Bruno Guimaraes added another goal just 13 minutes later as Newcastle ran away with an impressive 4-1 win this evening.

Let’s take a look at how each Newcastle United player fared during the clash against the Red Devils.

GK: Nick Pope – 7/10

Pope made a few solid saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet this evening.

RB: Kieran Trippier – 7/10

CB: Dan Burn – 7.5/10

He was a rock at the back and didn’t hesitate to clear the danger when required.
