Another Der Klassiker in the books. Bayern have to shift quickly now to the Champions League quarters.

Bayern Munich took on Borussia Dortmund in a match that had less significance than past rounds have had, but nonetheless produced a good amount of Saturday entertainment.

In this edition of Der Klassiker, the traditional Bundesliga rivals shared spoils in a 2-2 draw that probably does not change very much for either side.

Which team had more Champions League hangover after getting beat midweek by Inter Milan and FC Barcelona, respectively? The Bavarians came out determined to show that it was not them. But despite owning the first half in underlying metrics, they could not get on the scoreboard:

In the second half, Dortmund flipped the script and scored first through Maximilian Beier. However…

Substitutes Raphaël Guerreiro and Serge Gnabry quickly vaporized the BVB advantage. But this momentum would not last either, Waldemar Anton scrambling home an equalizer in the 76th minute and setting up a frenetic, end to end finish.

So what do you think? Let us know your thoughts on the match below.
