Not good…
Bayern Munich center-back Kim Min-jae has had an up-and-down career in Bavaria thus far, while often dealing with injuries.
During his team’s 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund, Min-jae struggled to adjust to the trajectory of a cross coming toward Maximilian Beier, allowed the BVB attacker to slip inside of him and score with a header.
It was a moment in the match that likely led to Min-jae’s removal just six minutes later and also irked board member for sport Max Eberl.
“It was a mistake. He lost sight of his opponent. Up until then, he played very well against (Serhou) Guirassy. But he himself knows about the goal,” Eberl told Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
The goal can be seen in the highlights below:
Min-jae will have to shake it off and regroup for this week’s Champions League showdown with Inter Milan on Wednesday.
