Destiny Udogie has become a wanted man ahead of the summer transfer market all of a sudden and Tottenham Hotspur have a big decision on their hands about his future.

Tottenham would not like to sell Udogie as they believe he is extremely talented and his progress has been halted by injuries this season.

Manchester City are interested in signing Udogie as one of the left-backs Hugo Viana wishes to bring in during the summer.

Destiny Udogie has had a mixed spell during his time in England, impressing in his debut season at Spurs but undergoing a dip in form this campaign — perhaps making it difficult for Daniel Levy to decide what remains the best course of action about his future.

While Daniel Levy is a shrewd businessman, he will also be aware that parting ways with Udogie could be a risk considering the Tottenham defender is only 22 and a top player in the making.

But at the same time, Daniel Levy needs no reminding that Udogie is not as important to Tottenham as their high-profile sales such as Gareth Bale and Luka Modric were in the past.

In Udogie’s case, GiveMeSport can reveal that Daniel Levy would be open to sanction his sale provided Tottenham are presented with a sizable offer.

Apart from Manchester City, even Juventus are interested in signing Udogie — potentially as a replacement for Sky Blues target Andrea Cambiaso — who can play on both flanks.

In the event that the youngster does depart N17, it will be a challenge to replace him.

However, it seems like Spurs always had a succession plan in mind.

TBR Football exclusively revealed that Tottenham are eyeing Tyrick Mitchell from Crystal Palace – whose contract expires at the end of the season.

If Tottenham manage to sign Mitchell on a free transfer while cashing in on Udogie, Daniel Levy would perhaps have every reason to be satisfied.
