FC Barcelona will travel to Signal Iduna Park to face Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League. The Catalans have a 4-0 lead from the first leg and are favorites to qualify for the second leg. Barcelona had a very hard game in their previous game in the La Liga, when they beat Leganes 1-0 away from home. The Catalans are still the favorites to win the treble this season.

Alejandro Balde, Marc Andre-Ter Stegen, Dani Olmo, Marc Casado, and Marc Bernal are set to miss the game for Barcelona due to injuries. In this article, let us take a look at the predicted lineup of Barcelona against Dortmund.

4-2-3-1 FC Barcelona Predicted Lineup Against Borussia Dortmund:

Defense:

Wojciech Szczęsny has been in sensational form this season and will again start as the goalkeeper for this game. Jules Kounde, who has been consistent and made the right-back position his own, will start in that position again. Gerard Martin is expected to replace injured Balde in the left-back spot. Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez, who have been a sensational center-back duo this season, will again start the game in this leg.

Midfield:

Pedri and Frenkie De Jong are expected to be the two pivots. Pedri has been one of the best midfielders in the world and is pulling the strings for Barcelona this season. On the other hand, de Jong is back to his best after coming back from an injury spell.

Lamine Yamal, who is creating havoc from the right with his dribbles and vision, will again start as the right-midfielder and provide width to the team. Fermin Lopez, who has been impactful in the minutes that he has received on the field this season, is expected to start as the central attacking midfielder. Raphinha, who is having a Ballon d’Or-worthy season, is expected to start as the left-midfielder and make runs in behind the defense.

Attack:

Robert Lewandowski will again be the main striker for the team and will be expected to continue with his good run of form against Dortmund.
