Bayern Munich had a 2-2 tie with Borussia Dortmund…
It has been a week of unfulfilling results for Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany.
After a 2-1 loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League, Bayern Munich could only muster a 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
Needless to say, Kompany felt as if his boys probably could have pulled out a win with a few different breaks.
“You go into every game wanting to win. So there’s a feeling that we could’ve done better. But with a view to the setbacks (injuries) we had recently, it’s important that we have energy and togetherness. Our fans saw that we had 50 shots on goal in the last two games. It’s not a lie, 50 shots against two teams that are in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. Of course not everything is perfect at the moment, but the mentality and belief are there. Despite the injuries, we can always be dangerous,” said Komopany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Danger will be what Bayern Munich wants to create this week against Inter Milan in leg two of their Champions League tie. Can Kompany lead his team to a comeback?
