It goes from bad, to worse for Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham after a dire 4-2 defeat at Wolves.
Facing off against 17th-placed Wolves, Tottenham would have seen an opportunity to make it two wins in two in the Premier League.
That however would not be the case as goals from Rayan Ait Nouri, Jorge Strand Larsen, Matheus Cunha and a Djed Spence own goal, further piled the pressure onto Postecoglou.
After their 17th defeat of the season, it seems like Tottenham fans have finally had enough.
Fans say time is up for Ange Postecoglou
Many fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the under-pressure manager.
One supporter said: “Ange genuinely nearly relegated a premier league ever present big 6 team.”
A third fan added: “Surely Ange doesn’t make it till next season?”
“How is it possible to still support Ange,” added another supporter.
Tottenham on course for worst-ever Premier League finish
Tottenham currently sit 15th in the table with six games to go, a position set to match their lowest-ever finish since 1993/94.
Out of their six remaining fixtures, only one of their opponents (West Ham) are currently below them in the table.
Daunting trips to Anfield and Villa Park await the Lilywhites, as they look to avoid the embarrassment of a potential 16th or 17th-placed finish.
Is an Arteta-style recovery still possible for Ange? Or is it time for a change at Tottenham?
