Xavi Simons looks back on his youth at La Masia and his favorite tournaments back in the day. He is also looking ahead to the first Wings Cup. From 22 to 24 April, international young talents from six nations (born in 2007 and younger) will meet at the Red Bulls’ academy grounds for the first Wings Cup. The innovative tournament will challenge the professionals of tomorrow in an unprecedented format. The Wings Cup consists of two tournament parts: a classic competition in team mode and an individual competition in which the performance of each individual player scores points in addition to the team’s success.
