Justin Kluivert bizarrely pulled down Ismaila Sarr’s pants during an angry clash between the pair.

Both players were booked for their antics during Crystal Palace’s goalless draw with Bournemouth.

Neither side was able to break the deadlock at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.

There was a tension to the match, though, after Chris Richards’ controversial sending off.

It continued beyond the half-time interval as Kluivert and Sarr clashed at the start of the second half.

The Cherries winger had been left aggrieved by a tackle from Sarr, who slid in to win the ball.

Their argument continued as Kluivert got to his feet before he shockingly pulled down the Palace man’s shorts.

Sarr was left puzzled by the incident as he turned to referee Samuel Barrott.

The official cautioned both, with seven players booked in total during the match.

Amongst them was Richards, who was shown a second yellow card in first half stoppage-time.

Kluivert and Sarr both remained on the pitch, though, before the latter was taken off late on.

Oliver Glasner replaced the Senegal international with Justin Devenny in the 91st minute.

It was the fourth yellow card Sarr has received in the Premier League this term.

The 27-year-old has featured in all 33 of Palace’s league matches so far this season.

Saturday’s draw leaves Glasner’s side 12th in the table with five fixtures remaining.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth are five points above them in eighth as they tussle for a spot in Europe next season.

As for Kluivert, he has picked up seven yellow cards in the league this season.

Those include a caution in the reverse fixture against Palace in December, which also finished in a 0-0.

On that occasion, it was his fifth yellow of the campaign and saw Kluivert received a one-match ban.

Despite the bookings, the 25-year-old has been in impressive form this term with 12 goals and six assists in 29 Premier League appearances.
