Looking to replace the Ramdeuter already? Harsh..
Bayern Munich is about to witness the end of an era with Thomas Müller set to leave the club, but it looks like they’re already gearing up to replace him.
Bayern is identifying potential targets to play in the second striker position, or if needed an attacking midfielder behind Jamal Musiala on the depth chart, and per a report from @iMiaSanMia, Christopher Nkunku is one of them.
Nkunku is on the verge of leaving Chelsea in the summer, and the report suggests that Bayern Munich could snap him up once he becomes available. However, the report also says that Arsenal FC could potentially be interested, and may be competition for Die Rekordmeister, although whether or not Nkunku would be willing to join a London rival is a different story.
Fans are concerned that the Frenchman plays in the same position as Musiala and Florian Wirtz- two explosive youngsters that, if everything is true, could link up in the coming seasons for Bayern Munich. If Wirtz does end up joining Bayern, signing Nkunku may be redundant.
What do you think? Would this be a good signing? Or as one fan commented, would it just be a French Gnabry situation? Let us know in the comments!
