jOnas Urbig has made quite an impression at Bayern Munich…

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Jonas Urbig has been extremely impressive in filling in for injured starter Manuel Neuer.

Obviously, people have noticed the youngster’s performances, including Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl.

“Jonas is a very talented goalkeeper and exactly what we had in mind with this decision. He has shown very good performances in recent weeks, has great potential, and has replaced Manu very well,” Urbig told kicker (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Eberl was at the forefront of signing Urbig from FC Köln and the youngster has delivered on his vast promise. Whether he can ultimately succeed Manuel Neuer is still up for debate, but the 21-year-old did nothing to make anyone think that he could not at least contend for the position.
