VfL Bochum‘s chances of Bundesliga survival could be significantly damaged if they lose at home against Union Berlin on Sunday at Vonovia Ruhrstadion.

The hosts are second last in 17th place and have 20 points with just four matches left to play, while 13th-placed Union are mathematically safe following their 4-4 draw with Stuttgart last Saturday, a stalemate that increased their points tally to 35.

We say: VfL Bochum 0-2 Union Berlin

Union’s form has been excellent, and they will be firm favourites due to Bochum’s poor record in the Bundesliga.

The hosts have also conceded numerous goals in the past weeks, and it is not difficult to see the visitors scoring more than once on Sunday.

Werder Bremen know that a defeat against visitors St Pauli on Sunday at Weserstadion in the Bundesliga could be devastating for their European ambitions.

The Green-Whites defeated VfL Bochum 1-0 on April 19 and are in eighth place with 45 points, while St Pauli are in 14th place with 30 points and need to collect five points from their final four games to secure top-flight survival.

We say: Werder Bremen 1-0 St Pauli

Werder Bremen’s strong showings at the back could help them keep yet another clean sheet in the Bundesliga when they host St Pauli.

The home side are in fine form, but the visitors have not often been defeated in recent matches, so it would not be surprising if Sunday’s clash was a close affair.
