Mohamed Salah is already setting his sights on next season after sending a new message to Liverpool fans amid the Premier League title celebrations.
The Egyptian was once again at the heart of the Reds’ latest triumph as a 20th league crown was confirmed on Sunday, taking Liverpool back level with Manchester United’s tally. Salah scored in the 5-1 win over Tottenham that confirmed the title will be heading to Anfield, with his incredible numbers this season now reading 33 goals and 23 assists across all competitions.
And Salah also gained plenty of attention for his celebrations during and after the game. The 32-year-old stopped to take a selfie with the crowd in the Kop after scoring, with plenty more following in the full-time festivities.
The winger hasn’t wasted any time in getting back down to work, having posted pictures of himself in the gym on social media less than two days after the title was confirmed.
And it seems he’s already got his mind set on Liverpool’s defense of its crown next season, judging by his latest message to supporters.
“This is what we wanted to deliver to our fans more than anything,” Salah posted on X on Tuesday.

“This is a club that should always compete for everything and be right at the top. No excuses.
“All teams win games but in the end there’s only one champion. That’s what history remembers and this applies to next season as well.”
Salah made no secret of his desire to win this season’s Premier League, with the Egyptian even changing his usual ambition of winning the Champions League at the start of the campaign.
And five years on from celebrating the Reds’ last title in an empty Anfield amid Covid restrictions, Salah was in no doubt about the significance of this latest triumph.
“This is way better, 100 percent. Without Sadio [Mane], without Jurgen, without Bobby [Firmino] and everybody. It’s more special with the fans.
“You have a different group now, a different manager and it shows that you are able to do it again. That’s something special.”
Liverpool.com says: You’ll never stop Salah’s hunger for trophies. It’s a sign of just how driven he is to succeed that he’s already looking ahead to next season, and no doubt he’ll have his eyes on even more than the Premier League title.
