Two more Bayern Munich veterans might be playing their final games for the club.
Bayern Munich have a big summer ahead. With the Club World Cup looming, and the club desperate for silverware, there is growing pressure among the club. On top of the big tournament, there is a high amount of transfers expected, both in and out of the club. New names to the list include Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry.
While the club was expected to sell several players this summer, or at least attempt to, Leon Goretzka was not initially on this list. Once again, the club seems to underestimate or reject Leon Goretzka despite strong performances and showing the right attitude. Gnabry on the other hand, is not the player from previous seasons at Bayern, but is a good player coming off the bench and a helping hand.

Despite good performance, it is reported by Bild’s Tobi Altschäffl, that Bayern will be attempting to dump both Gnabry and Goretzka this summer. Neither player has interest in leaving, however. Serge Gnabry is seemingly destined to leave after his final year of his contract, but Leon Goretzka is still only 30 years old, and could still have a role in future years.
Regardless of Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry’s dedication to the club, they might finally be on their way out the door. If anyone can survive more rejection from his club than anyone else though, it is Goretzka.
