Chelsea has announced a short-term front-of-jersey sponsor for the remainder of the season — despite the campaign being less than a month away from finishing.
The deal with real estate company DAMAC Properties will see the Dubai-headquartered company’s logo appear on the front of Chelsea‘s men’s and women’s team jerseys until the end of the campaign.
Enzo Maresca’s players will wear the new DAMAC-sponsored game jerseys for the first time when Chelsea — which could rival Liverpool for Dean Huijsen’s services this summer — faces Djurgarden in the Conference League semi-finals on Thursday, before also donning it against Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend.
While DAMAC’s logo is only expected to appear on Chelsea’s jerseys between now and the end of the campaign, the partnership between DAMAC and Chelsea is a long-term one, believed to be worth upwards of $1 billion, and one which will see the development of a series of “first-of-its-kind football-themed branded residences” in Dubai.
Chelsea is still searching for a long-term kit sponsor having played without one in many of its games since its previous deal with telecommunications company Three ended in 2023.
Chelsea struck a short-term deal with Infinite Athlete last season which saw the American sports data company’s logo adorn the front of Blues jerseys during the 2023-24 campaign, but that deal concluded last summer.
Chelsea’s partnership with Infinite Athlete continues: the company’s logo no longer appears on Chelsea’s game jerseys, but it does appear on the club’s training gear.

Premier League rules stipulate that clubs cannot change main kit sponsors during a season, other than in exceptional circumstances, although clubs are allowed to change the sponsor for a single game day every campaign, in order to promote a charity.
Regarding Chelsea’s long-term partnership with Damac, club president and COO Jason Gannon said: “DAMAC are world renowned in building luxury properties, and we are thrilled to be working with the industry leader to bring to market a first-of-its-kind branded Chelsea FC residence in Dubai.
“With the club located in the heart of London, the collaboration will bring Chelsea to life in Dubai, support our continued growth on the global stage. We can’t wait to see Chelsea Residences take its place in the Dubai skyline.”
