Tottenham Hotspur haven’t exactly had the best of seasons, but they’re still very much in the picture for the Europa League.
Admittedly, Spurs have a lot of work to do in the Premier League, having slumped to 16th place in recent days.
Tottenham’s domestic woes have led to increasing speculation over Ange Postecoglou’s future at N17.
However, Guglielmo Vicario has now sung Postecoglou’s praises, going back to when he joined the club as their new goalkeeper.
Vicario explained what Postecoglou did in a bid to convince him to join Tottenham that made the Italy international join “very quickly”.

Guglielmo Vicario says Ange Postecoglou ‘knew everything’ about him when trying to sign him for Tottenham
Vicario, speaking on Optus Sport, explained how Postecoglou called him and already “knew everything” about him, showing he had done his homework.
The former Empoli man explained how this was a very big deal for him, as Postecoglou already knew which aspects of the keeper’s game he could work on.
“He called me before signing and he knew everything about me so this was a big deal for me,” Vicario said of Postecoglou.
“When your manager calls you and knows exactly which aspects of your game that you can impact, I thought ‘Wow, this is a very good start’.
“It was a very good speech between us and very quickly my decision was made. I didn’t have to think about it.”
Vicario was also eager point out the positive impression Postecoglou has made on him off the pitch.
“Before the managerial and tactical aspect, he is a fantastic human being in the way he approaches people and the way he teaches people how to behave and live life,” Vicario said.
“I will always remember for my entire life the way he speaks to the team…it’s a big deal, it’s a big part of his personality.
“His style of coaching, the way he wants to change this mentality of how you go into a game is a big deal. It’s an untraditional style of football.”

What sources have been saying about Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham
Although Vicario is clearly very fond of Postecoglou, questions over the manager’s future at the club remain.
TBR Football sources recently revealed that not even winning the Europa League will not be enough to save Postecoglou’s job at Tottenham.
This is due to Spurs’ dismal league form, which could very well see them set a new record for their most league defeats in a season.
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been told that Daniel Levy has so far stopped short of telling Postecoglou that he’s leaving.
Instead, Levy has made it known that Tottenham are exploring other options, including former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
