Fulham will be without two players for Saturday lunchtime’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Rodrigo Muniz and Reiss Nelson remain sidelined with respective muscle and thigh injuries, but Antonee Robinson is available for selection after missing last weekend’s 2-1 win at Southampton with a knee problem.
Robinson is likely to be restored at left-back if he is fit to start and could join Calvin Bassey, Joachim Andersen and Kenny Tete in a four-man defence, and that could push Ryan Sessegnon – who scored a stoppage-time winner against Southampton – further forward.
Indeed, Sessegnon could be deployed as a right-winger, but he faces competition from Harry Wilson, Willian and ex-Aston Villa man Adama Traore for a start, while Alex Iwobi is set to continue on the opposite flank.
Emile Smith Rowe was also on the scoresheet against the Saints last time out and he, along with Sasa Lukic, will be hoping to force their way back into the first XI, with Andreas Pereira one man who is potentially in danger of making way.
Sander Berge is expected to keep his place in centre-midfield, though, while top scorer Raul Jimenez – who has netted 11 goals this term but has drawn a blank in his last six league games – will lead the line in the absence of Muniz.
Fulham possible starting lineup: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Lukic, Berge; Sessegnon, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez
