Tottenham Hotspur has a place in the Europa League final in its sight as it takes on Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the semi-finals later.
Spurs will be desperate to salvage something from what has been a desperately poor season, with Ange Postecoglou’s side languishing in 16th in the Premier League after the defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, which handed the Reds the title.
With speculation over their manager’s future, even lifting the Europa League might not be enough to save Postecoglou’s job. They’ll have to get past this season’s surprise package to have any chance of that, with Bodo/Glimt having made its way past the likes of Olympiacos and Lazio to reach the semi-finals.

Early team news
Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Son Heung-min will miss out again with a foot injury. The Tottenham captain has missed the last four games with the problem, although he is thought to be nearing a return.
The South Korean will be one of two players missing for Spurs, with Radu Dragusin still recovering from an ACL problem. Postecoglou’s side is otherwise in good health, with James Maddison looking to create some history for the club.
“When you get to the end of your career and you look back, there’s not many times a player has been in European semi-finals. Maybe once or twice if you are lucky,” Maddison said.
“We need to use that. We are in the final four in a massive competition in Europe and use that to have a great tie on Thursday and in Bodo as well.
“We’ve got a real special opportunity. There’s obviously been a lot of talk about form and being a poor season, but we have the opportunity to do something very special.”
