Mikel Arteta has instilled an incredible mindset into this Arsenal team.

Indeed, from day one, Mikel Arteta made it clear that he won’t suffer any fools at Arsenal, making cut-throat decisions on big-name players.

Arteta released Mesut Ozil at Arsenal, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was frozen out at the Emirates too.

Arteta has made it crystal clear to his team that you need to work hard to make it at Arsenal, and a number of players have really stepped up in that regard.

Kai Havertz is a renowned hard worker in training, while Declan Rice works incredibly hard in training too.

Speaking to TNT Sports on TikTok, Jorginho has now named another Arsenal player who works incredibly hard in training, claiming that Jurrien Timber often stays late after sessions to do extra work.

Jorginho says Jurrien Timber stays late after training

Jorginho was asked to name the Arsenal player who most often stays after training to do extra work.

Thomas Partey often does extra work after training, but according to Jorginho, it’s Jurrien Timber who is putting the most in after the sessions are finished.

Timber has been a consummate professional since signing for Arsenal, and while it would’ve been easy for him to be deterred after his ACL injury last season, it would appear that he’s now working harder than ever before.

The £40m man has a great mentality. The Dutchman recently said Ben White makes him a better player due to the competition within the squad.

Timber works his socks off behind the scenes at Arsenal, and, as we’ve seen this season, that hard work is paying off.

After a terrible injury last season, it would’ve been easy for Timber to give himself plenty of time to ease himself back into the team.

Indeed, players often take a long time to get back up to speed after such a serious injury.

However, in Timber’s case, he’s hit the ground running since his return, and he’s now one of the first names on the teamsheet at Arsenal.

Timber has played a lot of minutes this season after returning from injury, and that’s a testament to his professionalism and his dedication to his craft.

On top of that, Timber has played brilliantly, the defender has earned tons of praise this season, and, who knows? Perhaps he could still have a part to play in Arsenal reaching the Champions League final.
