Liverpool are set to be busy in the summer transfer window and Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez is one of the players in their sights.

TBR Football recently confirmed that Liverpool are currently leading the chase for Kerkez, who has been one of his team’s standout players this year.

Bournemouth, for their part have already accepted that Milos Kerkez will be moving on this summer and have his replacement in place after landing Julio Soler.

Now, Kerkez has revealed that one of his Premier League icons is a player who’s still plying his trade for Liverpool.

Milos Kerkez says Liverpool star Andrew Robertson is one of his Premier League icons

Kerkez took part in this week’s Uncut on the Premier League’s official YouTube channel.

He built his FC 25 Rush 5v5 squads consisting of Bournemouth players, spoke about his teammates, and reacted to some of his goals and assists for the Cherries.

Uncut host Marva Kreel relayed a fan question for Kerkez, namely which was his Premier League icon growing up.

Kerkez gave three names – Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo, Chelsea icon Ashley Cole, and Reds left-back Andrew Robertson.

“Obviously I would take Cristiano Ronaldo back in the days at Man United,” began Kerkez.

“I could put Ashley Cole there, a left-back also, from Chelsea, I liked a lot… and also Andy Robertson.”

How much Milos Kerkez could cost Liverpool this summer

Liverpool weren’t particularly busy on the transfer front over the past 12 months, but there could be more activity this summer as Arne Slot looks to strengthen his ranks.

Robertson has been a wonderful player for Liverpool for many years, but his form hasn’t been particularly great this season, so there’s a possibility a new left-back could come in.

Interestingly, the player who sees Robertson as one of his Premier League icons could be the one to replace him next season.

Kerkez is firmly in Liverpool’s sights and, according to TBR Football sources, Bournemouth value Kerkez at around £50million.

At just 21 years of age, Kerkez has quickly made a name for himself as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League.

He combines both attacking flair and defensive solidity, and he has been thriving in Andoni Iraola’s attack-minded, high-speed system.

“For me he is one of the best left-backs in world football already,” Troy Deeney recently said of Kerkez.

“He is exceptional with the ball and without it, runs all day and has loads of room to grow. It is not surprising that Liverpool have been linked to him.”
