Meanwhile, Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa are all likely to be busy in the summer transfer window in pursuit of reinforcements.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa all holding in-house talks about Kevin De Bruyne amid surprise stance
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can confirm that De Bruyne is open to remaining in Europe and England, and intermediaries are holding talks with prospective options.
We can confirm that Vincent Kompany has recommended his former teammate to Bayern Munich and they are keeping tabs on his situation – but no talks have taken place. There are also clubs in Italy looking.
It is similar to Aston Villa – who are discussing whether to make a move. There are other Premier League clubs who have discussed De Bruyne situation in house – including Arsenal and his former club Chelsea.
That is described as due diligence, given the player’s stature and ability and is normal – but no talks have taken place.
We are also told that someone within the Etihad hierarchy feel that they should try and keep De Bruyne for another 12 months, but as it stands – that is not an option.
TBR Football is told that the Premier League and European clubs have been caught by surprise that De Bruyne is considering remaining in Europe.
Joe Cole recently claimed De Bruyne would be a good signing for Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Wayne Bridge said De Bruyne would be an incredible signing for Liverpool.

Inter Miami are keen but they have a full designated player compliment, meaning that De Bruyne to join them would have to wait for a ‘proper’ deal from David Beckham’s outfit.
Chicago Fire are now in advanced talks and are ready to use a DP slot, which means they can pay De Bruyne the expected wage for one of the world’s top players.
