No more messing about

The winner of the coveted Meisterschale will now be decided today. All Bayern Munich needs to do is to beat Leipzig. That’s it. It doesn’t matter if Bayer Leverkusen win, draw, or lose against Freiburg. All that matters right now is win, at all costs. Today is the day that Bayern wrestles the Meisterschale back and remind everyone who the best team in Germany really is.

That said, they could hold off for one more matchday and win it at the Allianz Arena which would be Thomas Müller’s final home game. Leipzig meanwhile is hunting down automatic qualification for next season’s Champions League.

Bayern is top of the league with 75 points (23-6-2) while Leipzig is fifth with 51 points (13-10-8). Will Bayern finally win the league today?

It’s Bayern time.
