Report: DFL made exception for its most special boy — Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane

Okay, then…

Well…this will not help the perception that Bayern Munich gets preferential treatment from the DFL.

Per Bild (via @iMiaSanMia), the governing organization granted Harry Kane an exemption to a rule on where a suspended could be 30 minutes before a game and 30 minutes after a match:

When a player is serving a ban, the DFL regulations say that he’s not allowed on the pitch ‘half an hour before kickoff and half an hour after the final whistle’. The DFL officials made an exception for Harry Kane today so he could celebrate his first trophy with his teammates, but Leipzig’s late equalizer prevented that.

In any event, Kane will be on the pitch if Bayern Munich can clinch the title next week vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach. Kane’s buddy, Thomas Müller, is counting down the time for the Englishman to get a chance to snare his first trophy:
