Ibrahima Konate started on the bench in a heavily-rotated side Liverpool as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Chelsea.
Gary Neville expected Liverpool to lose to Chelsea as he felt the Reds may not be up for the contest after being crowned Premier League champions recently and he may have had a point.
Liverpool were far from their best as the Blues looked up for the challenge to advance their hopes of booking a place in the Champions League next season.

Ibrahima Konate was dancing after Chelsea beat Liverpool
Konate, much like his Liverpool teammates would still have been letting the fact that he is a Premier League champion sink as his side faced Chelsea.
Having suffered heartbreaks in recent seasons in the race to win the title as well as losing the Champions League final in 2022, Liverpool defender Konate perhaps has every reason to be over the moon as he was given a well-earned rest against Chelsea.
Journalist Ian Doyle reported that the Frenchman was spotted dancing in front of the away end after the contest.
Interestingly, Chelsea enquired about signing Konate but seeing him still bask in the glory of winning the league must have perhaps made them realise how much he is loving life in a Liverpool shirt.
How Arne Slot should react to Ibrahima Konate’s antics
Arne Slot might well be frustrated as he would like to finish the season on a high not.
For that to be the case, the Reds’ players will have to show the required level of fight on the pitch to do so as well.
But Arne Slot should give Konate a pass as he has shown his determination throughout the season for Liverpool and it was on his teammates who do not play as regularly as Kostas Tsikimas and Jarrell Quansah to name a few to shine against Chelsea.
