TBR Football understands that Chelsea have zero intention of selling Marc Cucurella this summer amid links to FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Cucurella has dramatically revived his Chelsea career since Enzo Maresca’s arrival in West London, with the Spaniard becoming one of their top performers this campaign.
The 26-year-old’s performances have seen him linked with some of Spain’s biggest clubs with Barca particularly keen on the left-back.
Both La Liga clubs have been looking for a left-back and the performances of the former Brighton defender have really caught their eye this year.
Marc Cucurella is very happy at Chelsea despite Barcelona links
Chelsea and Enzo Maresca could not be happier with Marc Cucurella, who they believe has been one of their stand-out players this season, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.
Maresca loves the way the defender has performed for him – he was linked with a move last summer and Chelsea would have been willing to listen to offers, but that is no longer the case.
Spanish reports have linked Cucurella to Real Madrid and Barcelona and whilst the Spaniard would have an interest in returning to Spain, TBR Football has learned that he is very happy in London and is not looking to leave the Blues in the near future.
Marc Cucurella’s impressive display vs Mohamed Salah and Liverpool
Cucurella enjoyed one of his best displays of the season over the weekend as he managed to keep Mohamed Salah quiet at Stamford Bridge.

The Spaniard played a key role in helping Chelsea defeat the champions 3-1 in West London in what was a massive boost for their top-five hopes.
Only Trevoh Chalobah completed more defensive actions than Cucurella against Liverpool as he produced seven clearances, one blocked shot, two interceptions and one tackle.
Cucurella looked on his way out last summer at Chelsea, but now, he is one of the Blues’ most integral players.
