One left-back could be flying the coop…
RB Salzburg director Rouven Schröder did not hide the fact that Frans Krätzig could be joining his club this summer.
“Frans is an outstanding player. It’s looking good that there’s a possibility he’ll come to Salzburg,” Schröder told LAOLA1 (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
There was some thought that Bayern Munich might keep Krätzig, who is on loan with Heidenheim, due to the long-term injury the Canadian is dealing with, plus Hiroki Itō’s repeated metatarsal issue. Now, though, it seems like Austria is up next for the 22-year-old.
Let’s celebrate Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga championship and talk about what it means for several key members of the squad like Harry Kane, Eric Dier, and…Thomas Müller. Let’s also chat about late drama with Leroy Sané’s contract extension, Serge Gnabry potentially taking over for Harry Kane, and Kingsley Coman possibly wanting to stay in Bavaria as well.
