Leeds United are now back in the big time as champions of the Championship.
A 91st minute strike from Manor Solomon ensured the Whites pipped Burnley to the Championship title on goal difference with a 2-1 win over Plymouth, although the Clarets can still be proud of their season, having also accumulated 100 points.
Now, the task for Leeds United is to improve the squad in preparation of Premier League football – a level the Whites haven’t played at for the last two seasons.

Some moves have already been made. TBR Football understand Leeds enquired about Eric Dier – while Tomas Soucek could also move to Elland Road amid doubts over his future at West Ham.
Now – however – an approach has been made to sign a new forward in Moussa Djenepo.
Leeds United open talks to sign Moussa Djenepo
Africa Foot are now claiming that the Whites have made an approach to sign the Mali international.
The African news outlet state that Leeds are willing to trigger the €2m (£1.7m) release clause written into Djenepo’s contract at Standard Liege, and the attacker himself is interested in a return to the Premier League.
Between 2019 and 2023, the Malian amassed 73 Premier League appearances, scoring three goals while also providing four assists before he was sold to Standard Liege for £3m in September 2023.
Africa Foot believe Rangers are also keen to sign the 26-year-old.
Djenepo is currently on loan at Antalyaspor from Standard Liege, and the Turkish side hold an option to buy, although the story states that the winger is unhappy in Turkey, and does not want to join permanently after months of unpaid wages.
Moussa Djenepo has been compared to Sadio Mane
The man born in Mopti has a long way to go to match what Sadio Mane achieved in England, scoring 111 Premier League goals and winning one Premier League title, but nonetheless, Tony Cascarino still saw enough talent to liken the Leeds target to the Senegal international.

Speaking on talkSPORT in December 2019, Cascarino said: “One player I mentioned, Djenepo, the lad in midfield.
“He’s a handful… he’s got that Mane in him where you just don’t know what way he’s going to go. He’s going to run at you, he’s going to do this little jinking movement and it’s very hard for a defender to know where he’s going to go, which side, left or right.”
With Djenepo unhappy on loan in Turkey, and with a release clause worth just £1.7m in his contract, we feel this is a move that could easily materialise for Leeds this summer.
