Sané to Barca? (ESPN)

With all of the drama surrounding Bayern Munich and Leroy Sané these days, it is not shocking that other clubs are starting to get more serious about the winger. Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC, and Chelsea FC were all rumored to want the Germany international, but now FC Barcelona could get into the mix:

Barcelona are considering a move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané when his contract expires in the summer, reports Diario Sport. Talks over a new deal at the Allianz Arena have reportedly broken down and the Germany international is firmly on Barcelona’s radar as they begin plans to reinforce their attack. Sané, who was previously linked with the club after working under manager Hansi Flick at Bayern, has been in good form this season with 11 goals in 28 Bundesliga matches, but Sport also reports that Barcelona president Joan Laporta is keen on AC Milan’s Rafael Leão and Athletic Club’s Nico Williams.

The interesting part of this news is that Barca coach Hansi Flick was not exactly a major fan of Bayern Munich acquiring Sané back in the day. While Flick did help Sané become a more complete winger, it would be a mild shock to see the coach push for the 29-year-old.

Stiller to LFC? (Stuttgarter Nachrichten via @GGFN)

Former Bayern Munich midfielder and current VfB Stuttgart starter Angelo Stiller is getting interest from Liverpool:

Stuttgarter Nachrichten reports that Liverpool are interested in bringing VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller to the club in the summer. There is serious interest from Liverpool in bringing Stiller to the Premier League, it is believed the English side sees the Munich-born midfielder as an important piece in their midfield in the future.

A fee of at least €60m is the threshold for which Stuttgart will then consider letting the 23-year-old leave in the summer. This is because Stiller is a vital piece in the Swabians’ squad and the way they play. From next season onwards, if Stuttgart is to achieve anything, then Stiller will be an important piece.

The 23 year old does have a €40m release clause in his contract that is valid until 2026 but his clause can be bought out for a fee of €2m. This then means Stuttgart can demand whatever price they want for Stiller.

ESPN captured more details on Stiller’s situation:

Liverpool are set to move for Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, according to Stuttgarter-Nachrichten. Stiller, 24, has four goals and nine assists in 44 matches across all competitions and is similar in style to Real Sociedad’s Martín Zubimendi, whom the Reds tried to sign last summer. Stuttgart will want a fee of around €60m for the transfer of a player who is under contract until 2028, with Arne Slot reportedly ready to open talks.

Kleindienst getting major interest on the market (CaughtOffside)

Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst is drawing interest from Wolverhampton, Everton, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, and AS Roma:

Wolves, Everton, West Ham, and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the situation of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s striker Tim Kleindienst.

Borussia Mönchengladbach may have to sell Kleindienst if they fail to qualify for European competitions, increasing the likelihood of a transfer. Sources have informed CaughtOffside that the Premier League clubs are ready to pay €30-35 million for the German striker. This figure is considered a very reasonable investment, given the player’s current form and impressive statistics.

However, Kleindienst is not only attracting interest from Premier League clubs. Italian giants such as AC Milan and AS Roma are also closely following the player’s situation. Bayern Munich stands out as one of the teams evaluating him as a potential reinforcement for its attacking unit.

Hainer says sporting challenges for future are “enormous” (kicker via @iMiaSanMia)

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer recently talked through the challenges that the club is facing in the future.

“The sporting challenges in the future are enormous, especially the international competition with clubs that are financed by oligarchs or states, that’s a huge task. But this club has been a forge of identity for decades – players like Musiala, Aleks Pavlović and Alphonso Davies will carry on the Bayern gene. ‘Mia san mia’ also means that we are not afraid of the future,” said Hainer.

Spanish trio eyeing Leipzig’s Šeško (Diario AS)

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško will be a major transfer target for many clubs this summer, but Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid could be leading the race:

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško has been linked with a host of clubs in recent months, but the LaLiga trio of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are all looking for a new No. 9 and are ready to step up interest.

Kompany says Olise could play attacking midfield (@iMiaSanMia)

Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany might have a roster overflowing with attacking midfielders by the summer and might be willing to add another one into the mix — winger Michael Olise. When asked about Kompany playing the No. 10, the coach did not sound against it.

“He has that mix. He’s very dangerous out wide, but he also has the qualities to play centrally. That package will be important for the future. He doesn’t think much and is performing on a consistent basis right now,” Kompany said.

Hoeneß talks club mantra (kicker via @iMiaSanMia)

Bayern Munich legend Uli Hoeneß recently had this to say about Mia San Mia.

“If we want to be successful, we have to differentiate ourselves from those who do everything just through wages and money. I see FC Bayern as a family – and I really hope that we convey that to our players so that they live it the same way. A while ago, we had the death of a very dear colleague in the rehab team. For us at Bayern Munich, it goes without saying that we would support his widow and family with everything we could. Mia San Mia also means that,” Hoeneß remarked.
