Bayern Munich is preparing to face Gladbach…
Bild journalist Heiko Niedderer captured some footage of Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala getting in a workout at Säbener Straße.
Musiala looked like he was getting in some light jogging (we do not know what kind of work he gets done indoors), which represents progress in his quest to be ready for the UEFA Nations League semifinals with the German national team’s and the Club World Cup with Bayern Munich:

Good news at FC Bayern: Jamal Musiala is back on the pitch for the first time since injury, running laps. Goal: the Nations League!
Bild (via @iMiaSanMia) added more context:
Jamal Musiala completed a 20-minute jogging session today in a first step towards his comeback. Musiala is aiming to return in time for the Nations League Final Four in 4 weeks in order to get match practice ahead of the Club World Cup.
Min-jae shutdown
According to a report from Tz’s Philipp Kessler and Vinzent Tschirpke (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has decided to shutdown center-back Kim Min-jae for the rest of the season:
Vincent Kompany has decided to rest Kim Min-jae in the remaining two Bundesliga games in order to be ready for the Club World Cup.
This is the best move. Let the defender take some down time to work on his Achilles tendonitis and hopefully begin the healing process.
Focus on youth
We know, we know…where have you heard this one before, but Bayern Munich is looking to integrate some youth players into the first team, so they can show whether or not they have the chops for first team football at the club:
The big wish of Bayern bosses next season is to have more Campus talents integrated into the first team and given a chance to prove themselves. They believe that there are enough top talents in the Campus like Lennart Karl and Cassiano Kiala, for example, who have to get their chance at some point. That would improve the spirit in the academy and also help the club in their bid to reduce the wage bill.
