Lamine Yamal names two Premier League stadiums he is desperate to play in

Superstar teenager Lamine Yamal revealed he would love to play at Anfield and Old Trafford.

Throughout Barcelona’s Champions League campaign this season they did not face any English sides.

On Friday it was announced that Yamal is now a global ambassador for Beats by Dre.

The Beats campaign released a short story where Yamal – who is the CEO of Lamine Records – is aiming to find the best tracks for his matchday.

“I love music for many reasons: it helps me focus before a match, it also helps me relax, and it’s an escape into a world of fun,” said Yamal.

“For me, Beats is a cool, stylish brand that connects with my personality. I’m really happy to be working with them.”

When asked what stadiums he would like to play in, he responded: “There are so many I’ve yet to experience, especially outside of Europe

“In Europe, some of the iconic ones I’d like to play in are Old Trafford and Anfield.”

So far in his career Yamal has played at the San Siro, the Bernabeu and of course the home of Barcelona the Camp Nou, which is currently under renovation.

The 17-year-old also revealed who his favourite players are currently – and named one of Arsenal’s English gems.

“Right now, outside of Barça, I think [Ousmane] Dembele or Bukayo Saka are doing really well,” said Yamal.

Last month Saka also had kind words for the young Spaniard.

Yamal joins Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland and LeBron James and many other athletes as an ambassador for the headphones brand.

“He’s top. Honestly, doing what he is doing at his age, what can you say, he’s unreal,” said Saka.

“It’s not normal. No one does it. I don’t think I’ve seen that level for a 17-year-old, so credit to him.”

It was a possibility that the two would meet in the Champions League finals in Munich but both Arsenal and Barcelona were knocked out in the semi-finals.

Despite Yamal’s hope for a European club crown ending, he still is on track to lift his first LaLiga title.

Barcelona sit four points ahead of Real Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti’s side travel to Barcelona’s temporary stadium, the Estadi Olimpic de Montjuic, for the final El Classico of the season on Sunday.

The two rivals faced off last month in the Copa del Rey final, which Barcelona won thanks to an extra-time winner from Jules Kounde.
