Manchester United will look to carry the euphoria of reaching the Europa League final into their clash with West Ham this weekend.
The Red Devils’ form in the Premier League has taken a huge hit recently, but fans in the UK won’t be able to see if that stops here.
Ruben Amorim enjoyed his best night as United manager after a 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday secured a 7-1 aggregate success.
The 40-year-old has made no secret of the fact that he has prioritised UEFA glory at the expense of the club’s domestic form.
However, with the Europa League final just weeks away, his side will need to start building momentum ahead of facing Tottenham.
United are winless in their past six Premier League matches, and haven’t won a top-flight game at Old Trafford since mid-February.
West Ham could represent the perfect team to snap out of that unwanted streak as the Irons are two points and places below Amorim’s men.
Only the relegated trio of Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton have picked up fewer Premier League points than the Hammers since Graham Potter’s first game in charge in January.
West Ham are on an even worse winless run than United, and failure to secure three points here will equal the nine-match streak the west Londoners endured in May 2011.

This Premier League match will not be shown live in the UK, having not been selected for TV coverage.
Sky Sports instead will screen the east Midlands derby between European hopefuls Nottingham Forest and relegated Leicester.
United’s clash with West Ham was pushed back 24 hours due to the club’s involvement in the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday.
