Time to kick back and relax…what do you mean there’s two more games left?
Bayern Munich has finally done it: they have won the Bundesliga, building up a big enough gap to Bayer Leverkusen to make it impossible to catch them. Today’s match is about celebrating that Meisterschale revenge mission so the club should be motivated to get all three points.
Vincent Kompany can experiment a bit but at the same time needs to maintain rhythm for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. That said, please join us in this (hopefully) easy going match with the fact that Bayern has reclaimed the league title.
It’s Bayern time.
While you’re here, do consider listening to our Preview Show! With the Bundesliga title already wrapped up, there could be a lot of changes mixed in with the expected beer showers — and hopefully a proper send off at the Allianz Arena for Thomas Müller. Let’s take a look at what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show:
- A look at where each team is in the table and also a look back at the first match.
- A look at the injury and suspension situations for both teams.
- Will Bayern Munich do anything special for Müller.
- A guess at Bayern Munich’s starting XI.
- A prediction on the match.
