Bryan Mbeumo loves playing against Liverpool

Mbeumo was asked which team he most enjoys playing against.

Interestingly, the £60m Brentford attacker says he loves playing against Liverpool, claiming that their open style of play really impresses him.

“Yeah, and the one I love to play against is Liverpool. Yeah, I love to play against them,” Mbeumo said.

“I love to play against every big team.

“Yeah, but, like, of course, the bigger team, because really, they smash up sometimes. But it’s like, because the way they play is like, boom, boom, boom, boom. It’s so open. Yeah, it’s so open. So, I love that.”

Mbeumo says he loves playing against Liverpool, but, in that case, he must be a glutton for punishment.

Indeed, the Brentford ace does not have a good record against the Reds over the years.

Of course, Mbeumo probably loves the Anfield atmosphere and he certainly loves to challenge himself against the best of the best, but, over the years, he has struggled against Liverpool.

Of course, Brentford aren’t the strongest team in the Premier League, so Mbeumo has always been facing an uphill battle here.

Who knows? Perhaps beyond next season Mbeumo won’t be able to play against Liverpool anymore as he could ultimately be wearing a red shirt next season.

Mbeumo is a top player, and it would appear he could be headed to one of the Premier League’s bigger clubs in the summer.
