Liverpool enjoyed themselves at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds were greeted onto the pitch with a Guard of Honour by Arsenal after beating the Gunners to the Premier League title, and then proceeded to race into a 2-0 lead before the interval thanks to goals from Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz.
It was a party atmosphere for Liverpool in every sense of the phrase, even in spite of the fact Arsenal fought back to draw 2-2.

In the meantime, an interesting development occurred over in Spain which could now see an elite talent in Rodrygo move to Anfield this summer.
Real Madrid overlook Rodrygo in El Clasico
TBR Football understand Liverpool opened talks to sign Rodrygo earlier this week.
The Brazil international is unhappy with his role at the Santiago Bernabeu, where the presence of Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior has somewhat shoved him into the shadows.
Rodrygo has only started 22 games in La Liga from a possible 35.
Earlier on Sunday, Real Madrid travelled to Barcelona for a seismic clash in the title race, knowing that a win would take them to within just one point of the Catalans with three games remaining.
However, in a shock move, Carlo Ancelotti opted to leave Rodrygo – who Arsenal also like – on the bench, preferring to hand Arda Guler a start next to Mbappe and Vinicius.

Surprisingly, the Italian didn’t even bring the Liverpool target on at any stage, despite the fact Real Madrid only trailed 4-3 for the final 20 minutes of the match, which we assume will only make the South American even more disillusioned at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Rodrygo will be an expensive addition for Liverpool
If talks between Liverpool and Rodrygo start to gather momentum, Fenway Sports Group (FSG) should expect to shell out a significant sum of money to get the deal over the line.

The Brazilian still has a contract running until June 2028, so Real Madrid are in a decent negotiating position despite his unhappiness, and the CIES Football Observatory value him at €141m (£120m).
That would shatter Liverpool’s record transfer, which remains the £85m spent to sign Darwin Nunez, but at the age of just 24, the Reds would be getting a long-term attacking option in the talented Rodrygo.
