Manchester United welcomed West Ham United at Old Trafford earlier this afternoon as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 26th minute when Tomas Soucek found the back of the net. Ruben Amorim’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Jarrod Bowen doubled West Ham’s advantage in the 57th minute. Man United failed to come up with a response and crashed to a poor 2-0 loss at the Theatre of Dreams.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the clash against the Hammers.

GK: Altay Bayindir – 6/10

He made one solid save at the back but won’t be happy after conceding twice this afternoon.

CB: Noussair Mazraoui – 7/10

Mazraoui got stuck in with a lot of crunching tackles and cleared the danger when he could.

CB: Leny Yoro – 6/10

He struggled to impress in the first half and was replaced in the 51st minute.

CB: Luke Shaw – 6/10

Shaw made one crucial clearance inside his half and was accurate with his passing. However, he was far from convincing defensively and was substituted early in the second half.

RM: Amad Diallo – 7/10

Diallo caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

CM: Manuel Ugarte – 5.5/10

He failed to offer enough protection for his teammates at the back and offered very little in the final third.

CM: Bruno Fernandes – 7/10

Fernandes managed to create a few decent chances for his teammates in the final third and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

LM: Harry Amass – 5.5/10

He struggled to give a good account of himself on the left flank.

RAM: Kobbie Mainoo – 6/10

Mainoo failed to impress in the opposition half and was fortunate to last the whole 90 minutes.

LAM: Mason Mount – 6.5/10

Mount caused some headaches for his marker but there was no goal for him this afternoon.

ST: Rasmus Hojlund – 6/10

He was always willing to have a strike at goal but failed to take any of his chances.

Substitutes:

CB: Harry Maguire – 6.5/10

He was a threat inside the West Ham penalty area.

CB: Victor Lindelof – 6/10

His impact on the game was minimal.

LM: Patrick Dorgu – 6.5/10

He made one good chance in the final third.

RAM: Alejandro Garnacho – 6.5/10

Garnacho made a couple of meaningful openings for his teammates up top.

CM: Christian Eriksen – N/A
