How to watch Man Utd vs West Ham in US and UK – TV channel, live stream, early team news

4 Min Read

It’s a battle at the bottom of the Premier League table at Old Trafford later today as Manchester United hosts West Ham.

Having secured a place in the Europa League final in midweek, where they will meet Tottenham in Bilbao later this month, United’s priorities will be lying elsewhere, with Ruben Amorim likely to not want to risk some of his stars for the remainder of the league campaign.

That could open the door for West Ham to leapfrog its opponent today, with Graham Potter’s side sitting just two points behind in 17th. With no threat of relegation for either side now, there is very little riding on today’s encounter.

Here’s all you need to know in order to be able to watch the match…

What time is kick-off?

The game kicks off at 2:15 pm in the UK, which is 6:15 am Pacific Time and 9:15 am Eastern Time in the US. Jarred Gillett is the referee for the clash at Old Trafford, with Andy Madley on VAR duty. The two sides last met back in October when a late Jarrod Bowen penalty secured a 2-1 win for the Hammers at the London Stadium.

Is the match on TV?

Fans in the UK will not be able to watch the game live, with Sky Sports instead showing Nottingham Forest’s clash with Leicester before Liverpool takes on Arsenal.

In the US though, the game can be watched live and streamed via Peacock.

Fans in the UK will also be able to catch extended highlights on Match of the Day, which is scheduled to be shown at 10:30 pm on BBC One and will include highlights from Saturday’s other games, including Liverpool vs Arsenal.

Early team news

United remains without a host of players, with the hosts’ defensive options looking particularly depleted.

Lisandro Martinez, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt, Ayden Heaven, Toby Collyer and Diogo Dalot are all expected to be missing at Old Trafford today. Harry Maguire, meanwhile, is a doubt after picking up a knock, and with Europa League final to think about, Amorim may be reluctant to start the England international.

As for the visitors, Crysencio Summerville and Michail Antonio are both out, but West Ham otherwise has a fully fit squad as it looks to leapfrog today’s opponent in the Premier League table.
