Scrumptious dub, bossman
Bayern Munich is making good progress on the squad planning front. Key players like Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala were given extensions while some players are lined up to get one. Director of Sport Max Eberl is credited with these moves, in addition to his talent ID:
In addition to the successful contract extensions of key players (although not on favourable terms for the club), the fact that Désiré Doué, Max Eberl’s transfer target last summer, has had a very strong development in Paris, has also been noted positively internally in favour of Eberl.

Doué has emerged as one of Paris Saint-Germain’s key players and he would’ve paired Michael Olise, both of whom would wreak havoc on opposition defenders. While Bayern never got their hands on Doué, the club is now looking at other targets as the current crop of wingers are being phased out. Florian Wirtz remains high on the priority list, and is a make or break deal for the Bavarians.
