VfB Stuttgart 4-0 Augsburg
Goals: 1-0 Karazor 8‘, 2-0 Woltemade 51‘ (assist: Millot), 3-0 Millot 80’ 4-0 Demirović 87’ (assist: Führich)
Red card: Essende 12‘

The match began with Stuttgart asserting their dominance early on. In the 8th minute, Atakan Karazor broke the deadlock, pouncing on a rebound after Jamie Leweling‘s initial shot was saved. The visitors’ dismay was compounded just four minutes later when Samuel Essende received a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Angelo Stiller, leaving Augsburg with a mountain to climb. In the aftermath, Stiller was unable to continue due to the injury sustained.
