Former Bayern Munich and Germany star Lothar Matthäus might have a lot of boisterous opinions, but he is plugged into the club’s activities.
While some might consider him something of a hot take artist, Matthäus tends to be on-point with much of his sourced information. This time, Matthäus has a story that many Bayern Munich fans will like and might even feel confident in.
“Florian Wirtz wants to join FC Bayern, and FC Bayern wants Florian Wirtz. And then FC Bayern will reach an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen. I’m more certain than ever. I’m pretty sure that Florian Wirtz will play his home games in this arena next year,” told Sky (via @iMiaSanMia).
If true (and it appears to be), Bayern Munich fans will likely be very excited about the prospect of Wirtz joining the club.
