The game will be Zwayer’s second appearance in the Europa League this season. He also officiated seven UEFA Champions League matches, including the semi-final second leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.
His team will be made up of assistants Robert Kempter and Christian Dietz, as well as Italian fourth official Maurizio Mariani. Italian Daniele Bindoni will act as reserve assistant referee (commonplace in finals), while German referee Bastian Dankert will serve as the video assistant referee (VAR), with Benjamin Brand his assistant. Similar to Bindoni’s role, Spaniard Carlos Del Cerro Grande is set to be on VAR support duty.
