Mallorca boss Jagoba Arrasate will have to decide whether to start or bench Vedat Muriqi for Wednesday’s La Liga clash against Real Madrid.
The ninth-placed side will continue their quest to secure European qualification when they travel to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Arrasate has one key decision to make ahead of the contest, with the Mallorca boss set to decide whether to stick with Muriqi or recall Cyle Larin to lead the line.
Muriqi recently returned from a three-game injury absence in recent weeks to feature as a substitute in the defeat to Girona, before he played over an hour in Saturday’s 2-1 victory against Real Valladolid.
However, given his lack of minutes in recent weeks, Arrasate may be reluctant to start him for the second time in four days, opening the door for Larin to return to the starting lineup.
Antonio Sanchez could also come into the side to operate off the right flank, while Sergi Darder is likely to provide the attacking threat from the left following his winning goal at the weekend.
Omar Mascarell, who netted the equaliser against Valladolid, is set to keep his place in the middle of the park alongside Samu Costa.
After utilising a back four at the weekend, Arrasate is likely to revert to a back five to deal with Real Madrid’s array of attacking talent.
Pablo Maffeo and Johan Mojica should feature as the two wing-backs, while Jose Copete could line up as one of three centre-backs, along with Martin Valjent and Antonio Raillo.
In regards to injuries, Mallorca are unable to call upon Manuel Morlanes, Robert Navarro and Abdon Prats, while Chiquinho is a doubt for the midweek fixture.
Mallorca possible starting lineup:
Greif; Maffeo, Valjent, Raillo, Copete, Mojica; Sanchez, Mascarell, Costa, Darder; Larin
