Rayan Ait-Nouri is expected to leave Wolves this summer after an impressive season, and he will not be short of suitors – including recent Premier League champions, Liverpool.
Vítor Pereira’s men have been nothing short of sensational since the Portuguese’s appointment, winning six of their last eight games.
These results have helped guide them away from relegation and earned the Wolves boss April’s Manager of the Month.
These impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, with many of his players being touted with a move away, making this summer tricky to navigate for the West Midlands side.
Rayan Ait Nouri changes agents amid Liverpool interest
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Ait-Nouri has signed with CAA Stellar as his new representatives, who have existing clients including fellow Premier League stars Ibrahima Konate, Kobbie Mainoo, and Morgan Gibbs-White.
Since joining permanently from Ligue 1 side Angers in the summer of 2021, Rayan Ait-Nouri has made that transfer fee look like a bargain.
His attacking qualities are where the bulk of his skills lie, netting five goals and assisting a further seven this season, with Liverpool a club vying for his signature.
The Reds may have also been given a boost in their pursuit of the Algerian, with the 23-year-old switching agents ahead of the summer transfer window.
A left-sided fullback is a high priority for Liverpool this summer due to Andy Robertson’s struggles this season, with Ait-Nouri on their watchlist alongside Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and Ajax’s Jorrel Hato.
Arne Slot’s project is an exciting one after winning the league on his first attempt and with Champions League football guaranteed, Ait-Nouri may just be one player hoping to jump at the chance of playing for them.
Which other clubs are after Ait-Nouri?
Despite his manager confirming that he wants him to stay next season, Ait-Nouri, who is contracted for another season plus a further year’s option if the club wish, is expected to leave with many other clubs chasing his signature.
Manchester City have been linked with Ait-Nouri for a few years and their rivals Manchester United have also been keeping close tabs, with The Independent reporting in January that he is an option to bolster Ruben Amorim’s squad.
Although he is set to be offered a new deal this summer, Ait-Nouri, amongst a few others at the club, is set to depart in search of a new challenge, however, it is yet to be seen where this lies.
