This would have Bayern Munich cooking…

According to a report from Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich has already formulated its plan for how to best use Florian Wirtz, should the Bayer Leverkusen ace transfer to Bavaria this summer.

Wirtz could take over the attacking midfield position behind Harry Kane, while Jamal Musiala would bump out to wing, a position he has played successfully over the years:

Bayern are planning with Florian Wirtz in the #10 position, as a central playmaker behind the striker and occasionally dropping deeper. Meanwhile, Jamal Musiala would play on the wing thanks to his dribbling ability. In general, interchanging positions between Wirtz and Musiala in a fluid 4-2-3-1 formation is conceivable.

If true, the attacking quartet would seemingly be Kane at striker, Wirtz at attacking midfield, Musiala at left wing, and Michael Olise at right wing — which would be an extremely dangerous group — especially given how well players like Kane, Wirtz, and Musiala can so fluidly interchange.

This also begs the question as to how much Bayern Munich is willing to bend to retain Leroy Sané if he will be a bench player. How would you feel about things if this is the way Bayern Munich sets up its attack on match day one for next season?
