We should know by the end of the week if Leroy Sané will be back in 2025/26…

According to a report from Sport1 journalist Stefan Kumberger (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané will have to make his mind up by Friday on whether or not he will accept the club’s proposal.

One interesting note from the report is that Sané is not exactly drumming up interest from England at this point:

Leroy Sané has until Friday to decide on whether to take Bayern’s offer (€10m fixed plus €5m bonuses per year). However, Sané is currently facing another problem – While he’s under pressure from Bayern to make a decision, exploring other options is proving rather difficult for him. Arsenal and Chelsea are still skeptical about whether signing the 29-year-old really makes sense.

No club in England is really willing to pay Sané’s demands. That also explains why Zahavi didn’t ask for a big increase from Bayern (€12m fixed plus €3m add-ons). As things stand, however, Bayern will remain firm. A move to Saudi Arabia, although lucrative, is not the player’s desire.

The exchange of proposals at least indicates that communications are ongoing, but it still does not seem like Bayern Munich is willing to move from its offer of €10 million (salary) + €5 (performance-based bonuses).
