Semenyo’s Impressive Numbers In The Premier League This Season

Semenyo has enjoyed a decent campaign at the Vitality Stadium after he put in a series of eye-catching displays on the left side of Bournemouth‘s attack. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net 11 times and secured seven assists in 40 matches for the Cherries this season in multiple competitions.

The London-born talent has been a consistent performer in the final third based on his average of 3.4 shots, 1.3 key passes and 1.9 dribbles per game in the Premier League. He has even distributed the ball well in the opponent’s half, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 78% in league football (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at Bournemouth will run out in the summer of 2029 which could make it tough for the Gunners to sign him on the cheap this off-season.

What Will Semenyo Bring To Arsenal?

Semenyo can use his pace to get in behind the opponent’s backline and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. He has got the eye to play a few killer passes in the final third and can chip in by scoring his fair share of goals from the wide areas.

The Ghana international is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also fill in as a right-winger if needed. He has already proven himself in the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Arsenal.

Semenyo would bring more pace and goals to Mikel Arteta‘s frontline. He is good enough to fight for regular first-team football at the Emirates Stadium next season.

At 25, Semenyo has his best years ahead of him which makes him a good choice for the North London club to consider in this summer transfer window. He might even help the Gunners compete for some major silverware over the next few years. With all things considered, Arteta should focus on going all out to get Semenyo on board soon.
