Rodrygo Goes has broken his silence over his future at Real Madrid with links to Arsenal and Liverpool circulating the media.

Rodrygo was left on the bench for El Clásico over the weekend, which raised further doubts over the winger’s long-term future with the Spanish champions.

There has also been speculation that Rodrygo was already frustrated at being played out of position at Real Madrid. Subsequently, Rodrygo has been linked to Arsenal, who are looking for a new left winger.

Meanwhile, TBR Football reported last week that Liverpool have held talks with Rodrygo about a move to Anfield. Now, the winger has taken to Instagram to respond to speculation surrounding his future in the Spanish capital.

Rodrygo says ‘stop making things up’ amid Arsenal and Liverpool links

Rodrygo Goes took to Instagram to share an image of him undergoing rehabilitation from a minor injury and to assure Real Madrid fans he will be ‘back soon’.

Rodrygo ruled himself out of El Clásico as he informed Carlo Ancelotti that he did not feel ready to play in such an important fixture.

Madrid ended up losing the clash with FC Barcelona 4-3 in a defeat which leaves them set to surrender their La Liga title to their bitter rivals.

But, the Brazilian international also ended the message by telling outsiders to ‘stop making things up’ amid Arsenal and Liverpool links.

He wrote: “Thank you for all your messages and concerns. I’ll be back soon. Stop making things up.”

TBR Football understands that Arsenal and Liverpool are ‘excited’ about the prospect of signing Rodrygo and feel there is a strong chance of prising him away from Real Madrid.

However, the winger does not seem best pleased by links suggesting his future lies away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

How much would Rodrygo cost Arsenal and Liverpool?

Last summer, Liverpool had a £84m bid for Rodrygo rejected last summer, when Madrid were not open to selling the 24-year-old.

But with the forward seemingly unhappy and Madrid keen to raise funds for their new manager that stance might have now changed.

Meanwhile, CIES Football Observatory value Rodrygo at £120m, so it will likely take an offer somewhere between those two figures to sign him.
