The ground has been the Toffee’s home since 1892, but it is time to say goodbye ahead of the move to the new Bramley-Moore Dock.

This is a stadium that has seen it all, and thankfully, it won’t be demolished.

Instead, the Everton Women’s team are going to use it, which preserves one of the best venues in the country.

The final match sees David Moyes‘ men take on Southampton, and it’s live on talkSPORT.

It’s set to be one huge party but touched with a tinge of sadness as well, and the Premier League are making an exception for the Toffees.

What protocol can Everton fans break this weekend?

Everton fans in attendance on Sunday will be able to drink alcohol in the stands and consume it within view of the pitch.

The kiosks and bars in the stadium will sell alcohol from before the game until 2:45pm.

There is set to be an ‘End of an Era’ part before the match, which will include famous players from Everton’s past, live music and replays of some of the great moments at the ground.

There is also set to be a special welcome for the current team.

Speaking about the departure from Goodison, Moyes spoke to Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist on talkSPORT.

He said: “All the Evertonians have been waiting for a long, long time now.

“Even when I was first there, we were talking about a stadium move, but it’s about to happen now.

“Goodison is coming to its last game. Certainly, for the men’s team, so it’s going to be all change.

When asked for a couple of standout memories, the Scotsman said: “I’ve got lots and lots of memories, and it’s very difficult when you’ve had so many games.

“But my first game, we played Fulham, and David Unsworth scored after 25 seconds to put us 1-0 up, so it gave me a great start to my career.

“But Big Dunc [Duncan Ferguson] scores a goal against Manchester United in the 2003/04 season when we qualified for the Champions League.

“I knew we had to win one of the big games in the run-in, and it was against Sir Alex Ferguson‘s Man United, and we won 1-0 at Goodison, and that was the difference for us finishing fourth.”

There have been some incredible days and nights at Goodison, but it is now time to say goodbye, and given fans can drink alcohol, expect it to be some party.
