Can we see him with the first team soon?
Bayern Munich’s academy is not known for producing talents, although Aleksandar Pavlović is a recent example of a youth player breaking into the senior team. The people in charge of the campus have marked down Javier Fernández as a player to watch out for and they have conjured a plan to further his development:
Many at the FC Bayern Campus rave about Javi Fernández (18) as the most talented midfielder in the academy. The Spaniard has been very unlucky with injuries and is currently out for at least three months with a knee injury. Bayern’s plan Fernández is to give him game time with the second team after he recovers, keep him fit over a longer period of time, and then to loan him out in order to take the next step.

If the cards are played just right, we might see the former Atletico Madrid youth player join Pavlović at the first team.
